Another project to add to BGP’s heritage portfolio, Redcar Central Station is a Grade II listed Victorian station and train shed built in c1860 for the extension coastwards of the Stockton-Darlington railway. It was last in use as a business centre which closed in 2013 and has not seen railway use since the late 1980s.
The the Station building and train shed have been sympathetically restored to its former glory ready for a mix of daytime and evening uses such as: Brewery tap/ bar, restaurant, shops, café, flexible spaces, markets, events, community activities, flexible workspaces and Toilets (including accessible spaces and changing facilities).
