Civil Engineer

Habib graduated in Civil engineering from Teesside University and joined BGP as a Civil engineer in 2021. He now has 8 years’ experience in the industry having previously worked for an international multi-disciplinary consultancy. Habib is a member of The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) and was part of their degree apprenticeship programme, currently working towards achieving his Chartership. He is very passionate about sustainable designs and thrives on creating new innovative and efficient engineering solutions.

Habib has wide range of experience having worked on multiple projects including residential, commercial, educational, leisure and data centres. Well-versed in the preparation of the necessary reports, calculations, drawings and documents for projects, foreseeing it from initial planning right through to construction stage. His role makes him responsible for the production of flood risk assessments, drainage strategies, road design and civils construction drawings using AutoCAD, Civils3D and Micro-drainage. He also liaises with Local Authority and coordinates with other disciplines, to ensure drawings are delivered on-time to comply with Eurocodes and British Standards.
